About us
Silver Root Press is a homegrown publishing company, the result of a husband-wife partnership that began as two very distinct missions.
Greg was an independent author working on his second novel and wondering if he should entrust his books to a traditional publisher or create his own publishing company.
Cindy's vision began with an ongoing prank; gnome figurines mysteriously began appearing in the strangest places all over the yard. Eventually, their daughter Amy confessed to hiding dozens of the whimsical figurines as a joke. This inspired Cindy to begin creating coloring books of the popular, fanciful folk, hoping others might also enjoy a coloring book devoted to gnomes in a cozy little world. One book led to another, as Cindy developed a passion for creating cozy fantasy worlds for people to color and enjoy.
As Greg's and Cindy's passions came together, they realized they needed a publishing company that would share their passions with others, and one thing leading to another (as they often do), Silver Root Press was created.
Already, the company is evolving and growing. They hope to one day provide a wide range of services to other authors and creative talents. Their mission, for now, is to have fun and publish books that inspire others.
